We met her today. She is so cute!!! We took some photos and forwarded them to our doctor so he can check them out. Once he says that she is OK, we will provide photos for you.

- May 4 2009 - Celebrating One year since we meet our daughter
- August 14, 2008, We are coming home to the US as a family of 3!
- August 12,2008 Visited US Embassy in Moscow. Received Ilyssa's Visa to enter the US
- August 8 2008 "GOTCHA" DAY. Ilyssa is now officially our daughter!
- July 28 2008, Our court date is set at 2:30 pm (6:30 am in the US). The judge awards Ilyssa to us but is unable to waive the 10 day appeal period.
- July 14, 2008 Received phone call we are heading back to Russia
- May 6 2008 Signed offical doucments to make Ilyssa part of our family forever
- May 4 2008 Went to the Ministry of Education
- May 2008: Moscow and Voronezh, Russia .... Here we come!
- April 4, 2008: We Received Our Referal!!
- January 31, 2008: Wide Horizons translated and forwarded our dossier to Russia
- January 9, 2008: We mailed our dossier to Wide Horizons
- October 1, 2007: Completed our Home Study
- July 11, 2007 : First visit with Christine, our social worker
- June 13, 2007: We Completed our initial application
- April 21, 2007 : We registered with Wide Horizons for Children

Shari & David, I'm SOOO happy for you. Another little girl cousin for Gabby and I. I told her and she is thrilled too.
